4BizExperts
Privacy Policy
4BizExperts (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides bookkeeping and financial operations support, including specialized accounting for law firms. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and in the course of providing those services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
You give us information directly when you complete an enquiry form, email or call us, book a consultation, send documents, or use our client portal. Depending on the service, this may include:
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- Business details such as entity name, formation state, and EIN.
- Financial records you send us for bookkeeping, reconciliation or catch-up work, including bank and card statements and trust account records.
We ask only for what a specific engagement requires. If you send us something we do not need, we will tell you.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit this website, our hosting and analytics tools may record your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view and the time you spend on them. This information is used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us measure traffic and the performance of our advertising. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand site usage, and Google advertising tags to measure the results of our campaigns. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To carry out the services you engage us for, and to prepare and submit filings on your behalf.
- To verify your identity where the law or a filing requires it.
- To send you information about your engagement, including invoices, requests for documents and status updates.
- To meet our own legal, tax and professional record-keeping obligations.
- To maintain the security of our systems and to prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade client lists.
Third-party services we use
This website and our practice rely on third-party platforms that have their own privacy policies, including Google (analytics and advertising), Calendly (appointment scheduling), Financial Cents (client portal), WhatsApp (messaging), GTranslate (site translation) and Trustindex (review display). We recommend reviewing their policies if you use those channels to reach us.
How we protect your information
We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable third-party platforms to protect the information in our care. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we ask you not to send sensitive documents such as passports, identification or bank statements as ordinary email attachments. Use our client portal instead, or ask us for a secure upload link.
How long we keep information
We keep client records for as long as we act for you, and afterwards for as long as we are required to by tax and professional record-keeping rules, or for as long as needed to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement. Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the message. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under data protection law, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your national supervisory authority. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Where a filing concerns a dependent or minor, we collect that information from the responsible adult.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here.
